Century-old patina creates the warm, rich tones of
bricks that were hand-made during the Austro-Hungarian Empire, between
1867 and 1918, when castles, palaces, churches and other buildings were
constructed of brick throughout Austria, Hungary and parts of
Ukraine.
Our fabulous find of many thousands of the beautiful bricks came from
demolished buildings in Lvov, a Ukranian city, and from the heartland of
Austria.
Some of the bricks are stamped with the imperial double-eagle, the
symbol of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
Our clients are using the bricks for decorative arches, stairs, patios,
columns, fireplaces, boveda ceilings and wine cellars.
